I really must get around to doing something with this blog, been meaning to for quite a while. For the time being here's a few great web comics.

From the page: "Welcome to the provisional BIEN Website (June 2006)
A basic income is an income unconditionnally granted to all on an individual basis, without means test or work requirement.
The Basic Income Earth Network was founded in 1986 as the Basic Income European Network.
It expanded its scope from Europe to the Earth in 2004. It serves as a link between individuals and groups committed to or interested in basic income, and fosters informed discussion on this topic throughout the world."

This is such a handy program. Easiest way to organise your music. It still takes a bit of time if you've got a large collection, But having the correct tags for your files is worth it.

This test is just inaccurate (I know that there is a 'more accurate' spreadsheet version you can download but it seems to be based on statistics for the US - also could not be bothered). It also seems to be quite biased. When I did the test using the most extreme cases the low score came to 1 and the message at the bottom said -
IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 1.0 PLANETS - note the plural. A sad case of eco-scaremongering methinks. Despite my dislike for this particular test I do feel that people need to be more aware of the environmental impact of their lives and what they can do to alleviate the problems the world faces.
